Bruce Y. Lee is an expert in the world of health and science. For over 20 years, he has been developing mathematical and computational models to assist a wide range of decision makers in health and public health. He’s published thousands of articles, multiple books, and has years of experience as a professor. Dr. Lee is also the CEO of Symsilico, which develops and uses computational methods, models, and tools to help decision-making. To say I was honored that Dr. Lee reached out to me to build his website is a massive understatement.
I started this design by identifying the most important aspects of the website: showcasing Dr. Lee’s most recent Forbes articles and eliminating the need to update the website each time he published an article. By integrating the RSS feed of Forbes into the homepage and then styling it, all of Dr. Lee’s articles would automatically populate on the homepage. From there, I created a minimalist style with subtle colors that would help showcase his work in a way that kept the words the focus.
